Landed today is a plain SIMPLE but beautiful SEIKO SPIRIT SCVS013 from Japan! This watch is not mine but I bought it on behalf for a Slovenian friend.

So at the meantime, I quickly captured this SPIRIT before it heads for Slovenia in a couple of days.

Quick spec and brief review:

Case : 37mm w/o crown and 39mm w/ crown
Strap: Original SEIKO strap with signed buckle(underneath though)
Lug: 20mm
Lug to lug: about 43mm
Hands: BLUE
Movement: SEIKO 6R15 Diashock 23J (windable and hackable)
Date: Quick set , dispaly at 3 o'clock
Crown: Signed with a "S"
Thickness: 12mm
Crystal : Hardlex

My overall impression: 9/10

It might look like a plain watch, even like a $100 or below priced watch. BUT DO NOT BE FOOLED by its look!!! The Fit and Finish are not like what those cheap SEIKOs! I've seen many SEKIO and this one packs an overall sweet package!!! The movement is butter and so are the hands and date adjustment. For a price like that around $270, this is more watch than its price!!!:)

I am seriously thinking of getting the SCVS003 Black dial w/ bracelet version which looks like a Grand SEIKO too!:) I think this one will be 9.5/10!!!:)
