I wear dive watches and am not a collector most can call me a "one watch guy". I've owned 4 Rolex's an SD and 3 Subs.
My first 5513 was new from Zales in Anchorage Alaska in 77 for $450. But over the years learned of less expensive watches, just as good as the big name brands.
I am both PADI/NAUI cert for open water diving since 79. Omega, Doxa, Steinhart, Seiko,Fortis,Sinn,etc, etc. Normally don't wear a watch for diving anymore unlike the late 70's-90's now a dive computer. Deepest dive was 150 ft. Dive watches are my choice, no gold, bling, etc.
BTW: Watch in photo is a Fortis Cosmonauts Diver.
