 those of you who gave me advice on how to handle getting rid of the paint left on my car.    Here's how it played out:

Yesterday--rubbing compound $3.......didn't work  :(

Today--paint thinner $3........didn't work  :(

Today--body shop buffing $10......WORKED!snoopy1.gif

P.S.  I think the only reason the first two ways weren't a "go" for me was that I don't have the necessary strength (or patience) for it.  The fellow who could have done it is out of town.
