I found a Science store that had recipes for patina . Several options but I used Liver of Potash. It comes in grape size chunks that have to be pulverised in a Motar and pestal than aded to a pint of distilled water . Apply with a art brush but first test it out on a sample of copper as it has very simular characteristics. Anything can be reversed with a polishing cloth with jewelers rouge. Iplayed with the contrast on a couple pics to exagerate the patina. Other pics show the real look though!
