...I really like the black/blue GMT,and although many dislike the new Daytona,I kinda like the Glacier blue dial, and brown...there are some better pics sure to appear as BaselWorld progresses imo...

This day might come when Rolex will stop trying to sell me shadows and dust...
A 300m watch in steel for 9000$ feels like a dildo to me.
not that I really want to know, but tell us,what does a dildo feel like Will,or do you mean it feels like you're getting screwed?dog smile.gif

Yes, that's what I mean: I don't want to feel like I'm getting screwed...
I've never been screwed of 5 grands and I don't want to experience it.
Considering for me that a Sub isn't worth more than 4 grands including all the glittering about it.
I don't give a crap about the popularity of the brand: Specially when I know that most of it was achieved by continual media bombing and myths spread by people who didn't know crap about watches.
I'm certainly not impressed either by only 108 years of brand history and the stunts they did with depth records who was already technologically accessible by many brands at the time but just didn't want to use millions$ on that kind of PR.
And now that I know they are and been during years in the game to press down FH to impeach a rise of Swissness above 50%, I'm certainly getting very conscious of how much they been using the Swissness law to take down them production cost by integrating eastern outsourced parts.
Rolex/Tudor never promised 100% Swiss so they never lied to anybody: They gently followed the law like other mass producers.
You want to pay heavy buks for what you get?
Buy limited production from transparent small manufactures who don't own or deal with many of those grey companies which you can't trace them parts from.

For me, when you produce a million pieces by year, you are an industrial producer and you should pass your low cost production to the consumer.
Coz exclusivity is long gone.
Rolex holds on it's "exclusivity" by practicing "exclusive" prices and make them ambassadors repeating everywhere that it gives you the best you can find...
I'm not a hater: I just don't fancy that kind of exclusivity Oscar.
And Yes, I dare to speak out: Rolex isn't holy for me and I'll be first in hell for that.
