Hmmm most disappointing to be sure. I have 5 Seiko5s and bought my wife 3. Most were bought in the last 5 years and only one gave me any trouble. It arrived with a broken date wheel. The wheel itself is plastic and I reckon there's a lot of plastic parts in them these days which may be the issue. Apart from running a little fast (which doesn't bother me) they've all been great. It's true that some of their bracelets do fell cheap and flimsy but ya gotta remember the price point some of them are at. I'm really curious about the new hacking movements but have not purchased any yet. Maybe I've been lucky up to now but I still find fun and value in them. Sorry to hear they haven't worked for you.
