If you are interested in taking macro photos don't get anything over a 6 mega-pixel camera above that the 8 mega pixel cameras use the same hardware as the 6 but do some extra extrapolation so they are kind of a fake 8 mega pixel. The newer 10 mega-pixel cameras use different hardware and they are not capable of taking as good of a macro as a 6 mega pixel or lower cameras. My dad has a Nikon D70 which I think is a 6 mega pixel but its an slr so it doesn't have a preview function on the lcd. It does however take remarkably good macro photos and it's auto focus is much better than my dads eyes so it still takes better photos than he got useing the canon g1 with the lcd! Camera_photos.gi @Pax I am not a member of the monster fan club... I'm still not. I realize that some people are charmed by the idea of zero form and all function but I prefer a 50/50 ballance in watch design. Still it is a required piece of the seiko collection so now I have it.
