Thanks for the replies guys.

Will - I hear you on the chinese parts, assembly, and QC...but, I put the Tektite or Cayman 3K in your hands, have you inspect from top to bottom...inspect the fit/finish (open her up... the whole thing), and I guarantee you will be giving them a thumbs up...that's all, I'm just sayin'. But I do get your point...there are a ton of pieces being bought out there (big brands and micros alike), with no idea of chinese content somewhere in the chain.

Tony & pbj - Agree on the crown position, (and that was my initial reaction too), but the more I think about it, the more I think it will be a non-issue. Certainly a Bullhead model at 12 o'clock usually includes a case design that makes the crown very accessible at all times. I sort of liken the crown design to my one-and-only crown at 6 Anonimo Militare. You are not going to make any time/winding adjustments with the watch on your wrist...you set the time, wind the watch, push the crown in, and then put it on your wrist, just like every single mechanical timepiece you wear. If someone is adjusting/winding any watch on the wrist, they are just asking for trouble and risking getting arm hairs hung up in the crown/winding assembly. So, all that said (and sorry for the long winded reply), I'm feeling a bit more comfortable with the crown configuration.

Here's a pic of my Militare:

Joe - I agree, very cool and unique handset on this one!

I still don't know if I'm reservation material though...still thinking on this one.
