I had a G-Shock on my wrist during the accident.
...G-Shock there Phil! If you are going to be wearing a watch during an accident... Well, I don't think I can think of anything tougher! 
Hope you are able to work out a new car very soon my friend! I suspect you might be a little sore tomorrow and the day after from the impact. Again...glad to hear you were ok.
