new arrival: Dievas MG-1 today...
Looks great on the wrist, and tough as nails in that wintery scene Oscar!
Blasted finish on this one looks very well done! Any first impressions after seeing it in the flesh? Congrats!
TY Chris, the MG-1 is a amazing watch imho...this pic hardly does the overall build, dial(metallic matte),case and hands justice as it is a watch I am really excited about...best Dievas since the original Vortex and even better!...I'll try to get some better pics up asap.
engineered from a heavy duty steel unlike 316L or Ti...the bezel and sealed dial/movement are held in place by the screwed caseback, which holds everything together by screwing into the caseback and onto a extended threaded bezel...once you unscrew the caseback you can lift the entire sealed contents out the front by the bezel...
That's some cool extra detail regarding the construction of the MG-1 (I had no idea it was constructed like this).
With a design like this for the MG-1, seems like Dievas is planning to leverage this design to other cases that work with the common, sealed dial/movement assembly???(like H2O has done with its ORCA lineup).
I have not really kept up with the development of the MG-1, so this is all new to me Oscar. Thanks for the extra detail! Cool looking piece for sure.
it's a pretty cool watch for sure, for those who are not informed of the build quality and super alloy used for the MG-1 here is the info:
