Whenever I buy a watch I always put the original box, papers and extra links Ina couple large plastic containers out in the garage, that way when I need the box I know exactly where it is.

So this morning I was out in the garage looking for a box, I wasn't sure exactly what it looked like so I was opening anything that didn't have any brand names on it.

When I opened this very nice long wooden box I got a big surprise.

Back in 2007 my wife and I went to Iceland for the first time and there just so happened to be a watch dealer across the street from our hotel so as any self respectable WIS I visited several times and of course ended up buying a watch before we went home, an Auguste Reymond.

The watch I wore to Iceland that trip was a gold and stainless Rolex 1600 Datejust....guess what I found in the AR box this morning, that very same DJ.

So I guess this is a sign of someone with too many watches when you forget you have a Rolex Datejust for almost 10 yeas.....made me think about Oscars stash under the bed.

Anyway here's the watch.
