I own the Ball Alligator LE and of all the watches I have, the Ball bracelet is by far the best constructed. The clasp for example and since you stated that you are cheap, you must own a seiko and noted their cheap stamped clasp, on Ball you will not see that. All their clasph are manufactured like their links.
So the answer to your question is yes you are a cheap bastard because at $220. the Ball bracelet is a bargain and if you were a true collector, you would only want the best for your watch because the complete package makes the presentation.

I wondered if you were insecure or just a pompous ass when you blew your watch wad all over our board... I wondered even further when you felt compelled to spout the prices of your pieces. Even this morning your proclomation of the grail of dive watches rubbed me the wrong way... I'll decide what's a grail in my mind.
