Thanks guys.  I don't have the watch in my hands yettime2.gifso I am hoping that it will be as nice in person as it appears.

It wasn't too much.  Funny, found the Chinese auction through about a 5 link sequence - kept translating it for several days and no one was bidding?  Seems that old watches are seen as lower status (from what a friend told me) in many Asian countries.  My gain.boy10.gif

The ad is something I found on a Japanese-language website on the history of Seiko.  I also found photos of the unique hang tags for the Gyro (which I thought I had used to change my Avatar but apparently not:X).

Seriously, I'm not a vintage collector (only own one other Vintage that I have purchased - Bulova Concentric 6 Adjustments from 1952) but this one just fit - you know.:dude:
