Oscar with your watch it is the click spring. Mike the ratio of the stem and the rotor are different if they were the same then the rotor would have to weigh 5 lbs and be the size of a dinner plate to get some of the movements to wind. That is why the rotor is spinning at such a fast speed as you wind.
