 Yes, that is what I was thinking. But, now that you say it, along with the cannon pinion tightener, I realize it had something to do with setting the watch (I think); not winding it.

Cannon pinion is a tube with a pinion at its base frictioned to the center wheel post, the minute hand attaches to it.


I was asking indirectly about the Click spring.  This can not be that hard to nail down though.
