 1.  What does 9-eater mean?

2.  I have a problem with my Seiko Military watch.  I have a 6" wrist, and the strap that came with it is 7".  Because of the way the holes are reinforced, no further ones are possible.

     I switched to a Swiss Army one--same problem.  :(  The smallest a NATO one goes is 6.5".....:(

So, my question is this:  What is your suggestion for a new strap?  Do you think some kind of leather would look right?    Frankly, I don't.  I think the watch will lose its military look.

I'm open to any and all opinions and suggestions.  Please help; I luv my Military but cannot stand it sliding around my wrist, and I can't bear the thought of having to sell it. :(
