 1.  What does 9-eater mean?

Nine eater refers to watches such as those that use the Unitas 6497 movement. The seconds dial is placed at the 9:00 position, hence the term 9-eater. A six eater would be a Unitas 6498 movement where the seconds sub dial is at the 6:00 position.
