Great Points Randy...The Shows are Educational and not Just About Selling........and Now I Can't Wait for the Jean Marcel Pocket Watches...should make for Great Watching You are a lucky man. BTW I like the direction WSS is going with their watch shows. It will pay off big time. People feel a lot more comfortable spending their money if a little education and genuine knowledge is part of the presentation. Everytime someone like Rick comes on it is air time well spent even if it cuts into sales time. It would also be great to show videos and pictures of the actual places these watches are made. Over the years we have been subjected to so much BS that a little PBS style info would put WSS well in lead of any hard sell infommercials. I'm sure a lot of these companies have a little video just for this reason. And if they don't they should.:D

I wish! I gotta empty my pockets just like everyone else. As far as first pick? I wait for a while so as not to take a watch out of a potential customers hands. Working in this industry hasn't killed my appetite for watches. In fact, it kind of makes it worse. Remember the old saying, "If you do something you love, you never work a day in your life". I'm lucky, I get to work with my friend, and talk about watches all day long!

Won't Rick just give you some of his watches? LOL Really, do you get first pick of what comes in? I have thought about getting into that business when I retire from my present business. I just don't know if it would be as enjoyable of a hobby if I did. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I know some dealers that get pretty excited when discussing watches and collecting even when dicussing watches they don't sell.
