I do have a Traser Unterwasser Sapphire LE which is a very nice quartz watch I beat on. they are vey similar to Luminox. I have had zero issues with the watch but don't wear it that much since its quartz. If you likethe idea of the gas tubes you could always try a ball. There are several models that are relatively affordable including the Fireman which I also own and really dig. Here are the two of them...
