Hi folks, looking at picking up a late Xmas gift and was waffling between Tissot Seastar 1000 or the Swiss Army 9G-600. I have read Ken's review of the 9G that is what peeked my interest but have also stumbled on the Tissot.

Mike, I have both, and it's a hard choice. The 9G-600 is a little more utilitarian and business-like, and, it is, if you have a use for it, a chronograph. On the other hand, the Seastar 1000 is one hell of a chunk of metal with a solid feel and a lot of pizazz!
