 Gerald Ford was a much better president than he is currently given credit for.  His controversial move of pardoning Nixon, was done, not to save the man, but to save the Nation and allow us to move forward..............his actions saved the Office of the President.  Everyone rails about Nixon's mis-deeds, but they were minor in comparison to those of many in the past and/or in the future....he simply got "caught" at it.

That said, Gerald Ford was a great man and a tremendous public servant who dedicated his life to serving his country.  His accomplishments during his short tenure as president were far greater than those of his successor!

I believe history will be a kind judge of Prisident Ford!
