I thought you had to have the paperwork in order to claim COSC but apparently not. That's why I thought it was odd. I read somewhere that Invicta is the only one that actually includes the certificate with COSC certified watches. They also engrave the number on the movement so I guess it doesn't matter if you have the piece of paper or not.
I got the certificate with my Doxa COSC but it is my only chronometer so that's all I know. I do think different brands include differnt types of paperwork and certification. I guess Invicta is clearly not the only brand to include paperwork since they seem to be selling these without a cert.
May be some of the other members with chronometers can elaborate on their paperwork?
