They also engrave the number on the movement so I guess it doesn't matter if you have the piece of paper or not. I got the certificate with my Doxa COSC but it is my only chronometer so that's all I know. I do think different brands include differnt types of paperwork and certification. I guess Invicta is clearly not the only brand to include paperwork since they seem to be selling these without a cert.
