Well, just wanted to chime in, as being one who paid almost 8 bills for a pre-production watch from our friend in Hawaii. While I could have bought others at that price like a Stowa, I liked the design and figured I was helping a fellow WIS in his startup by purchasing one (also a guy to whom customer service is more important than making a buck). And, in case u couldnt tell from my avatar, I have pre-ordered the Ocean7 LM-2. IMHO, a great design, which was influenced by those on the Ocean7 forum. While it does have a striking resemblance to the Glycine Lagunare (retailing at twice the price), their are enough unique design features to make it a worthwhile purchase (translation - will get a lot of wrist time). Bottom line is, as was said here earlier, I buy a watch because I like it and want to wear it (regardless of the brand, cost or cult appeal). Anyway, just my two cents guys... Steve H.
