Broadway Joe/Joe Willie was respected as Footballs 1st Real Superstar..he led the way on the field with his #1 prediction of a Pro Nat'l Championship...his grounbreaking commercials and ads as well as a article and Cover in Life magazine in June 1969 where he was alledgedly linked to some of NYC heaviest mobsters...La Cosa Nostra....Fictional Movies were made about him like the Longest Yard and a few others...he was #1 in elevating the QB status and practically played on crutches his knees were so bad....there are many players much better than Joe but none who changed the way the game is looked at today or the way we see sports figures in commercialshand6.gif
