If you ever get the need to get a base the larger one is the one to have, look into it you will know what I mean.  You may want to get a grinder to change the profile of the bits.  The idea is the sides of the blades rise parallel with a flat bottom with perfect 90 deg. angle.  The V grind on the bits sold today require more force applied in order to keep them from rising out of the screw.
