(Edgel.)I read all 3 parts of the article regarding the Seiko spring drive it is very impressive and a technological tour de force. (Ken C) .  The Thunderbird watch is rather large but but no bigger than my Georg Olsen .I have to get a strap i really like for it now as it came on a cuff strap in black leather.I am tempted to get a strap from West Coast Time for it but that would be twice the original cost of the watch . There is a dealer near me who i can check for take off bands in 24 mm he sells them for 5 dollars, but I am leaning towards a military look for this one. I could let the cuff strap go for shipping costs to interested parties at my discretion. I think it may be imnnapropriate for the expensive watches most people have here though. Also it is only about 7.5 inches so it would not work for the large wristed.
