My kids have (12 and 9) :).  Steamtown National Historic site is right in town here, it is a museum for steam locomotives located at the old Delaware Lackawanna and Western RR yards.  My older son can tell you the names for just about every steam engine wheel arrangement there is.  We have been building a model layout in the basement for a few years now loosely based on our area (5 railroads used to serve the coal mines here).  He likes my Accutron RR approved (214 back set 1974) so I gave him a Citizen RR Approved quartz.

You are right though, all the kids he goes to school with are into that Yugimon/Pokeyo junk, they don't know anything about trains :X

Cheers,
Griff
