Sorry to hear Gumba!....You may want to ask Avery or OldeCrow about the Gevril repair...I think Eric has had some experience with screw down crowns....also Jack at IWW but he is running about 4 weeks from my last e-mail to himhand6.gif I have lug springbars for a 9937 but not screws.. Thanks O but unfortunately it is the Gevril.:( I had a watch guy "Rolex trained" clean what I thought was a smudge under the crystal. Good news is the scratch on the dial turned out to be a piece of linthand6.gif but now I have this problem. I would take it back to him, but I do not trust him. He jerked around for 8 weeks with my JL Chrono before fixing it on the 3rd time.
I will take it to Universal watch Co. advertises in IW and other mags. Does restorations on watches as high end as Patek from around the world. Might costs me a bit, but .....just in case I want to trade or sell it, I want it right;)
BTW, do you have a lug screw for an Invicta 9937?? My brother needs one?
Thanks Gumba. Will see what I am told. Would like to get it pressure tested also after to be sure.
