Soliciting thoughts/opinions on the variety and quality of movements used in under $100 automatics. Within the last week, I've received two autos...a Lucien Piccard and an Alpha, each watch costing well under $100. I've posted pics of each. The Alpha is keeping good time and I'm very happy with it but the LP is slow. It looses about 3 min./day...not that big a deal to me because I won't be wearing it every day. I really like the look of the watch and will keep it in rotation but dissapointed with the lack of accuracy. I guess at that price, I shouldn't be surprised but the Alpha cost less and is right on time! I'll probably get another Alpha but are there other brands in that price range or up to $200 that anyone would recommend?
