Sounds like a college I used to work for, when I got my Masters' degree I asked for a raise, they showed me the door. I went to another college down the road and doubled my pay.
Idiots...something like that is a PR disaster and the official reply shows just how clueless they really are. I'll stick with my "poor man's Doxa"...
