Seriously though, Ocean 7 looks like a potential winner in the dive watch category and I wish them success.


I think that their "design by committee" approach results in watches that look strikingly similar to high end models that some would like to have.  I am not impressed with thier "bang for the buck" pricing for a start-up, and I definitely would not want to risk that kind of money on the SW200 movement until they get the bugs worked out of it and it becomes a solid & accepted engine.

Our very own Steve loves his and vouches for their quality, but I believe his has an ETA 2824-2 in it.

That said, at $6 per hour, you are giving to much credence to J Vargas' ability to perform.......unless you are expecting him to write fictitious advertising copy.....his pathological need to lie may give him a "step up" there.
