After a family style dinner at Maggiano's (google it - great place for italian food),  stopped by a local AD for Omega, Tag, Hamilton, Tissot etc to try on a few items (Planet Ocean, Seamaster GMT etc).

I was looking very closely at the GMT and was amazed when I looked at the lume on it.  The application of the lume was uneven, lumpy and made it look 'cheap' for a $2500 watch.  I asked the owner about it - he said, noone in his 25 years in business ever noticed something like that or asked about it.  I happened to be wearing my Orsa 3T Sea Angler and showed him the outstanding job Kent did on the lume.

He quickly changed the subject and started calculating a price on the PO for me (and before you ask, no it didn't come home with me - not yet).   Question I have is,  is that normal to expect on a watch of the quality of an Omega or am I being too picky?
