I just did, awesome video!

One of the old time railroads still left in our area is running steam again.  The New York, Susquehanna and Western (or the Susie-Q) is doing excursions again.  About 10 years ago they bought a new(!) steam locomotive from China and ran excursions for awhile, then I didn't hear anything about them.  Now they are back running the 2-8-2 Mikado hand6.gif

The NYS&W is one of the few regional bridge carriers never bought out by Conrail or another class 1 railroad.  We lost the Delaware and Hudson to CP Rail, and most of the other RR's around here were long ago absorbed.  I hope to take the boys to ride on the Susie-Q sometime this summer.

For the time being though, we are doing the special Disney "behind the scenes" tour of the WDW RR when we go to Orlando :)
