I admit I prefer automatic movements in dive watches. I have a couple watches (including that brand mentioned above in the thread) with a UNITAS movement but don't wear them much because well, this might sound strange, but it isn't "rewarding" in the sense that it doesn't really affect the watch whether I wear it or not. On an automatic, the more I wear it, the longer it runs without me having to wind it. On a manual wind, no such causal relationship. Sounds dumb, but thats my take.
Oh, and the UNITAS movement is non hacking, which is a little annoying.
