In all honesty this is an O.K. watch. I do like the case, dial, hands and black date wheel quite a bit. the case is solid and rugged. My cons would be the winding stem and bezel. On my NF, the winding stem is flimsy and not at all solid enough to inspire confidence. I haven't had any problems with its operation, it is just not appropriate for such a watch. On my watch the bezel is sloppy and doesn't align perfectly which is a bit of a pet peeve. If the pip is alligned at 12:00, the marker at 3:00 doesn't line up well and vice versa. These are made in Germany supposedly. For a long discourse on the watch see this excellent thread which swirled around when these first starting popping up. Initially they calimed a chronometer grade movement but quickly backed away from that when CJ opened his up and Johnny P and Eric Avery confirmed. Great thread.

Bottom line for me. Good watch which I consider a great beater. Don't know what they are going for now but I certainly wouldn't pay anywhere near to full price for one... no offense intended...jmho!! these are put together by WatchUnion and can be branded any way desired. Not to be confused with the real NauticFish by either Schaumberg or L&B.
