Regarding the 9G-600, I've had mine for a year and I like it a lot. it keeps time to within about 5 seconds per day (it's a little fast, which is good because I know I'm not late for meetings).
I've noticed one thing that bothers me a little, and I wonder if it's normal:
If you look very closely at the numerals on the dial and sub-dials, you can see they are not solidly drawn-- there are very minor gaps and irregularities in the numbers- especially the smaller chronograph and second markers- these gaps appear somewhat arbitrary and un-intended-- as if the numerals were painted onto the dial in a somewhat haphazard manner.
When examining it from 12 inches away, it seems irrelevant and the dials look absolutely great, but when examining from 6 inches, and being critical, I can tell there are slight irregularities, and these gaps look like imperfections, and it makes me wonder if I'm the only one.
Can you see this same anomaly? Is it normal? Am I alone?
I have just examined mine, both with the naked eye and with a 2X magnifying glass and do not see the problem...perhaps the dial on yours had a bad "stamping". If you bought ti new, I would suggest you contact your dealer or SA and let them know of the problem and your desire to have it corrected!
