I have been approached by dozens of manufacturers and vendors in the course of the past year who have offered payment and discounts for ad space...all were kindly denied :) This is a discussion forum not a sales forum...matter of fact John I was thinking of asking you for some sort of compensation or discount to our members for all of the watches you list on our sales forum:D:D
You make some very valid points. :D Just because something has always been done a certain way doesn't mean that we shouldn't consider doing things differently. Maybe things can be improved? :? My point was IF Steinhart did sell more watches after the sale came to the attention of 3T members, maybe it would be in their interests to consider offering us a discount. Why wouldn't Steinhart want to do what Marc, Enzo and Berg have done? What would be wrong with being more proactive in soliciting other great 3T members? I don't see how this would jeopardize the independent voice of the forum. :)

Thanks. That is very cool. Not a good business model but still very cool. :) That might be something to consider in the future. 3T hosts a link in echange for a discount to 3T members?
