Hi Doc, I wasn't really comparing the composition or backgrounds, it is the actual watch that bothers me. Your point about the orientation of the watch in the photos with respect to the bracelet is bang on. You put into words something that I have noticed subconsciously but not able to put my finger on. Where my gripe is, is that the case and bracelet look like some sort of grey dull metal, without any life or sheen. The bezel, arguably one of Doxa's finer features, is also not represented well. All in all, if I was using only these marketing shots to make a decision, I'm not sure I would have chosen a Doxa. Luckily, I had your site and dozens of owner's photos to go by, which capture the watch im much more of its true glory. Here is an example of a photo that captures the Doxa sub well...
