Cleaning: luke warm water & soap are great for the watch head. Windex helps as well. Furthermore I use a soft tooth brush to get into the nooks and crannies. Don't forget to rinse and to dry and to clean the crystal, I can recommend a 3M Scotchbrite microfiber cloth (great for a quick egrease cleaning as well). And my bracelets go into an ultrasonic cleaner with an Oxy clean solution, rinse & lube afterwards. :)

Storage: I have a two watch winder that doubles as a presentation box and outgrew that shortly after I first bought it. It's a good approach if you want to keep your watches wound, but in case the collection grows it has its limits plus at some point you should think about security of all the watches you have out in the open inside the box or winder.
