Received my Orange TRIAS from Marc at http://www.longislandwatch.com yesterday, and SURPRISE..........a beautiful black leather aviator strap from the world famous WIS, mcwright.  What an unexpected treat.....thank you, Mike!

The TRIAS is a brilliant red/orange color in a beautiful SS case that is a little lighter than expected, but, at the same time, very solid.  It came well packed and encased in a beautiful little chrome box shaped much like an eyeglass case (which should make a great travel case for carrying 2 extra watches).

The movement is not what we thought, (Miyota 8215).  It has a different (very nice, but different - more finished, actually) look to it.  It was immediately apparent as when I went to set it, it "hacked".  It is probably a Chinese movement which appears to be very accurate, and, is of no concern to me as it comes with a 2 year warranty backed by Marc's sterling reputation.  The strap was a shiny black, almost "plasticky" look, but on this beautiful $99 (shipped) timepiece, it can be readily replaced (especially with great friends like Mike).

All-in-all, first impressions are that it was a sound purchase!  It also comes in a yellow dial!

Unfortunately, I was up all night with a bad case of acid reflux and have not been in the mood to take any pictures........................later, perhaps!
