I see this watch as a true Homage. While other Ocean7 watches may resemble other watches this is mainly due to using off the shelf cases. I don't consider those models homage or clones but rather watches sporting a sub-contractors case. This watch will have the cases specifically made for this model. There is going to be enough difference in this model that I personally do not feel there will be any infringement.

One of the most surprising things I have seen following this watches development is the support from actual Ploprof owners. I really felt there would be an outcry from the original owners but so far there has been none that I have seen. I am sure some will pop up but so far there have been quite a few original owners that have enthusiastically voiced their support and commitment to buy.

I think most of this enthusiasm revolves around their personal knowledge of the quality product Mitch puts out and his revolutionary approach to let the buyers design the watches through their forum. I have owned 3 watches from this company and all were quality products. One watch, the LM-1 LE will never leave my possession. It is my overall favorite watch. If the LM-3 would of used C3 lume I might of said the same about it as well. The G-1 GMT is a fine watch but I rarely wore it so I sold it recently after I traded for a MarcelloC GMT.

Oscar, I could send you my LM-3 to handle and try out if you wanted. Sorry, I am not going to chance sending my LM-1 and it getting lost in transit as it can't be replaced. I do believe you own an Enzo EMV or V001 though and they are basically the same watch. I believe you are a fan of Enzo's and Mitch is just as much a stand up guy and IMHO follows the same vision for quality Enzo does. He is also right there available every day and practices great customer service.
