 I'd be surprized if Omega/Swatch didn't push back on this project.  But we'll see soon enough, I suppose.  If I were Mitch, I'd get a meeting with the right person over at Omega and explain the goal/idea to try to get them onboard with the idea of a "homage."  I'd do this after consulting with my attorneys so I have some idea of what options I'd have if they react poorly.

As far as the watch itself.  I applaud the effort, but I've never really understood the attraction of this watch and won't be in line to get one.  The legacy and heritage are there, I guess.  But the attraction just escapes me.  For me, it's like The Greatful Dead and Phish.  Massive followings, so there has to be something there....  but I don't get it.
