I agree, buy what you like and what makes you happy (and what you can afford). That is what our hobby is all about. Most of my watches are mechanical, I just find mechanical movements fascinating. But that does not mean I don't like a good quartz time piece. Heck, I have several quartz powered pieces in the collection. I have 2 Sector 600 dive chronos  Both excellent watches. Quality is great and both super accurate. I also just purchased an Ocean 7 G-2. Also a great watch with it's swiss Ronda 5030.D movement. As a WIS, collect and wear what makes you happy. :D Dave
