 Which do you prefer, a solid case back with a cool design, or a crystal case back so you can view the movement?

Do any watch manufacturers even make a solid case back so something can be engraved on it?

I really don't care about seeing the movement of a 2824 or Unitas. Maybe if I had a RGM or highly decorated movement, but in my price range, they ain't that exciting.
