They are having a lot of things going on over there, not an excuse but it is very fluid.

Personally they like most manufactures make there watches in batches. You should have been contacted and informed that they were out of that model. At least they sent you an up graded one. Enjoy :) They are having a lot of things going on over there, not an excuse but it is very fluid.
