That was a great read .... very interesting and entertaining ... thank you for going to the trouble .... and since I also own both those watches ( black faced Marinemaster) I would hope I can give you some insight .... For a desert isle eh ???? The Marinemaster still freaks me out that the crown doesnt screw down ... so I would pick the Citizen for that reason alone .... I think it would keep moisture and sand out better for longer , just in case we're talkin years on this desert isle !!!
