Got this one a few minutes ago from Marc at Island Watch. Boy, I tell ya, for the dough, Graf Zeppelin gives a nice presentation package. The watch comes securely contained in a white outer cardboard toss-away box with some nice protective stuff around the inner black jewel box holding the watch. You get your warranty stamped on the back of a replica of a Zeppelin passenger ticket from 1930 along with a nice polish cloth from Island Watch.

The watch itself is every bit what I expected already having two GZ's in my collection. You'll either love or hate the retro look, but the quality of the watch stands out in its price range. Nice satin finished case, slighlty curved crystal (like the old acrylic types), screw-in case back, Ronda Quartz movement, and a strap that would easily set you back $40 or so.

Now, does it glow. You bet it does. The hands in particular will last a good many hours into the night. My Big Date has basically the same dial without the GMT ring and the lumn is very good on the "can I read it" scale.

UPDATE: I assumed that this watch had the same case and crystal as my automatic big date model. It doesn't. The crystal is way more curved and really does look like an old acryllic type. The big date model is mostly flat at the edge. The case on the GMT is not as thick and is more rounded. And, what looks like a simple painted inner ring for the 24hours register is actually a raised silver metallic ring with red numerals. Nice detail for a sub $200 watch. What I am really liking though is the crystal. Kewl as a rewl!
