First the Rotary Revelation battery debacle, now this............ I went in today to my local jewler to have the battery replaced in my Tissot PRS 516 for the first time. He said that this is a complicated procedure and I could come back in a week for the watch. He told me it would cost between $35 and $40 for the procedure. Otherwise I would need to send it to the factory to have the battery replaced. Something about how it is a sensitive operation to switch the battery due to the chronograph complication. Does this sound correct to you guys? Have any of you had a battery change in a PRS516? If this is not correct, I will go in on Monday and pick up the watch before I am overcharged. Thanks for your help. ![]()
