My new impulse buy arrived a day early!
Swiss Legend 1000m Diver
Initial impressions, WOW! it's big, the fit and finish is pretty well spot on and it's got 24mm lugs so my sweet blue Panny straps will fit it!
It's also got a beautiful boxset/winder that is as good as anything I have seen, the presentation is top notch!
It's a remarkable watch if you don't need to see it in the dark that is...
What a disappointment!! It has huge hands and markers just begging to be properly lumed but with the text "swiss movt" on the dial it should be a clue that no amount of TV magic is going to make Taiwan lume into superluminova... :supercry06:
The crown doesn't thread tightly to the case which without opening it up and looking at the design of the crown and tube would worry me as far as it being watertight. This is the only technical problem I can see.
$800.00 will buy a lot of just about any other decent watch and for that kind of money I had better not find anything to complain about. It's going back!
