I am guessing $199 might be a reasonable price for a piece of this quality... or am I low balling it?

You know it wil eventually end up near the low ball price!!

Well after sleeping on it I have decided to keep the Swiss Legend.
I still stand by my initial comments but I have had time to reflect on the watch and peoples comments.

Several people pointed out that their was more to a watch than just the lume and while the lume is still very disappointing for a watch with 3x5mm markers and 2mm wide hands the Entire package and presentation of the watch is amazing and the watch really is remarkable. My complaint about the crown not threading down tightly against the case seems to have been unfounded as well, With some maneuvering the crown seats down fine and you can feel it stop against a gasket so I am confident that at least that much is OK.

In defense of the watch I didn't watch the show where they whored it (until after I bought the watch online) so I didn't actually have any expectations of the lume other than it looks like it should have some. I still believe the lack of lume is an amateur mistake and reflects the clear absence of design feedback from watch enthusiasts but in the grand scheme of things I can send it in for a lume job and have a pretty interesting time piece to show off to other WIS.

Where would I "lowball" the value of this watch? I would guess with the dial label of "Swiss Movt" it was not pressure tested to 1000m but I am pretty sure I will never find out if it will go that deep. The winder is a three mode model either direction or both and it is completly silent. The serial number/qc label for the winder is hand written in Arabic numbers so if it was made in China I can't prove it by the writing. It is a seriously nice winder and box so at least the price of a good winder is part of the price of this package deal.

I would say at $500.00-$600.00 dollars it would be a great deal, $800.00 is pretty steep for an over sized Invicta with a good quality winder. On the plus side it doesn't actually say Invicta on it anywhere!

Although the screws for the bracelet links look pretty rough the overall fit and finish is as good as any watch I have and the dial is very nice.

Also it's got 25mm lugs so straps will probably be special order items!

now for some better pictures...
